WORLD'S BEST SKATERS COMING TO ISLAND OF THE AMS AT WAKESTOCK

In addition to featuring Canada's top up-and-coming skaters, the 2nd annual ISLAND OF THE AMS skate event at Wakestock will showcase two of the top pro skate teams in the world. Members of the GLOBE SHOES Team and the ZOO YORK Team will be performing demos this year!

Anticipated Globe pro skaters include Chris Haslam and Paul Machnau, along with Am Team skaters Ryan Decenzo, Dave Nolan, Lee Yankou, Phil McKnight and Jesse Landen. And from Zoo York, look for Donny Barely, Zered Basett, Forest Kirby, Aaron Suski and Kevin Taylor.

The Globe Shoes Team demo is slated for Saturday, July 26 at 2:15pm and Sunday, July 27 at 3:00pm. The Zoo York Team demo takes place Saturday, July 26 at 3:15pm. The demos all take place in the RGX Skatepark, presented by SBC Skateboard Magazine, Milk and Eye Weekly.

The $5,000 Island Of The Ams Best Trick Contest and Milk Mini Ramp contest take place Friday July 25 through Sunday July 27. Make sure you bring your skate to take advantage of the daily free skate sessions.
